Day 3: Reflection

I thought that thesis statement is undeniably similar to topic sentence, in terms of the generality defined from the former and the latter. However, it isn't the case. Thesis statement describes the whole text and gives out additional information from it, evidently different from the topic sentence. 
Topic sentence, on the other hand I thought, talks about the main idea of a text but in fact, it is not. Still describing the remarks of topic sentence, I also thought that a text has two or more of that. Topic sentence is found to be only one. 

I learned that topic sentence and thesis statement can be located anywhere at the paragraph text. Topic sentence is found to be more specific than the thesis statement which beholds the standard viewpoint of the text.
