The Game of Shadows Film Review
1. What was the film all about?
The film is about the fight of Sherlock Holmes (an amateur detective) as the hero of the movie in preventing the criminal but perfectly disguised deeds of James Moriarty (archnemesis of the former)
2. Did you like the film? Why or why not?
I watched the film because of mystery; but what I'd seen is an action-packed one. I was looking forward to detective investigations and murder twists, at least but the movie only brought up the fact that Moriarty and Holmes battle against each other. Hence, I didn't like the movie.
3. Which part of the film did you like or dislike the best?
I like the ending part. It came with a twist. You will thought at the end that Sherlock died with Moriarty by falling into deep snowy mountains, however, Sherlock is alive and his existence made more impact as a resolution to the audience despite of its open ended story. Sherlock camouflaged a chair as a disguise (since he's a master of disguises) to his friend or rather assistant, Watson who already knew that he's dead. In contrast, I do not like the part of full conversation between Moriarty and Holmes. They only did chitchats of no efficient level of importance.
